Summer Members’ Show Artist Talk with Robert Stark

Ever wondered about the origins of the Afa gallery and the story behind the artists that created it? Founded in 1988, AFA Gallery was born from a collective of local artists who sought to create a space dedicated to the exhibition and celebration of contemporary visual art in the Scranton and NEPA area.

As part of our Summer Members' Show, Afa is thrilled to be hosting an artist talk with one of Afa's founding members, artist Robert Stark! 

Robert Stark has had solo exhibits at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Philips Collection, and in museums in Nashville, Augusta, Georgia, and Dallas Pennsylvania, among others. His work has traveled with the U.S. State Department to 140 world capitals!

The talk will be held at Afa gallery located at 101 Penn Avenue in Scranton on Friday June 27th, at 6pm! After the talk, there will be a q & a portion,…
